2014 Classic Results on BCDA Lakes

Shoals Area Crappie fished their classic of the year on the B.C.D.A Lakes this Saturday.  Teams were able to pick between any of the four lakes ( Cedar, Little Bear, Big Bear or Upper ).

We had a great turn out and the weather was on our side.

The top 3 teams was

1st to team McCarley with a 7 fish limit of 6.42 lbs and also had big fish of 1.11 lbs. They were spider rigging on Cedar.

2nd went to team Kevin and Rick with a 7 fish limit of 5.05. They were also fishing Cedar.

3rd went to team Kirby with a 7 fish limit of 4.18 lbs. He was fishing Little Bear today.

Most of the teams I seen today was Spider RIgging and we had a nice day except for the wind.  It has been a great year and very close in points all year and that's what we want.

Water temp today was 70 and most of the lakes was dingy from recent rains and wind.

We will take a break for deer season and get back started in January.

We will have an awards dinner sometime in November at the steakhouse in Moulton and maybe we can get the Team of the Year to buy!!

A big Thank You goes out to our Sponsors. BnM Poles, Vicious Line, Tennessee Valley Marine, Road Runner and Lake Fork Tackle.

Also, Thank You CJs Grocery and Bait for letting us have our weigh in at your store.

Again, good job guys for another fun and safe day on the water.
