Shoals crappie had their 2nd  tournament on march 22 on pickwick lake and what a day it was. Mother nature encouraged teams to make sure they had their rain gear ready but luckily we just had a few showers. We had all the teams bring in some good looking stringers and this is how it all went down.
1st went to Scott and Roger Echols with a 7 fish weight of 11.46. They was long line trolling slab bandits in 20' of water using BnM pro staff rods with vicious line and slab bandit baits. They told me their best fish came the last hour of the tournament.
2nd place went to Jerry and Eddie Miller with a 7 fish weight of 10.76. They was spider rigging on some brush tops in 12 foot of water using BnM capps and coleman rods rigged with some live baby shad (lakefork Tackle)
3rd went to McCarley/ McCarley team with a 7 fish weight of 10.39.   They also was long lining in some 12 to 14 foot of water using road runners with live baby shad
We had a tie for big fish team McCarley and team Harris both had a 1.91 slab so they broke the tie with a foot race. No just kidding they just split the pot.
It turned out to be a real nice day the sun come out and temps went up and the wind was not bad and we had a good time on the water. I want to thank our sponsors BnM, Lakefork tackle, Road Runner, Vicious Line and Tennesse Valley Marine for their support for all our tournaments.
