What a day to be on the water. This morning started out with a little drizzle of rain and a pretty good 8 to 10 NNE wind which put a pretty good chop on the water when we left the ramp. But not long after the tournament begin at 7 am the wind laid a little and the rain stopped and it turned out to be a really nice day on the water and here is how it all went down.

st place went to Keil/ Dodd who brought 7 crappie to the scales that weighed in at 13.19. They was fishing upriver from Ingalls harbor in 8 to 10 foot of water slow trolling Road Runner pro series heads with a Lake fork  ( Live Baby Shad)  They also used some Crazy Angler slab bandit grubs on their road runners. They also weighed in big fish of the day with a 2.64 slab. Color of the day changed all day but something with red was working.

nd Place went to Scott and Roger Echols of Hi-Tek rod holders who brought a 7 fish limit in that tipped the scales at 10.27. They were also fishing upriver from Ingalls in 8 to 10 foot of water using Crazy Angler slab bandits and crawl’rs. Scott also told me the color changed all day and their method of presentation today was long lining with a 1/16 jig head. They also brought a nice slab in that took 2nd in big fish which weighed 2.10. Good job guys.

rd place went to team McCarley/ McCarley  who brought in a 7 fish limit that weighed in at 9.10. Their location was unknown but Jimmy’s truck did not have mud on the tires today. They also were long lining jigs and tight lining Minnows. Jimmy will be having some hip surgery in the next few weeks and we wish him well and a speedy recovery.

th Jenkins/ Brown 7 fish 8.76

th Echols/ Thomas/ Thomas 7 fish 8.70
