Welcome Class of 2028!

A warm Irish welcome to you, the students and families of the Class of 2028! Throughout spring and summer, this page serves as a resource for our incoming students and families, with important information, 链接和截止日期. Please bookmark the page and check your spam folders to ensure that you are opening all of your SHC communication.

We will refresh due dates, information, and links on this page until September 1. By then, SHC students and families will be able to use our learning management system, Schoology, 的公告, 课程, 家庭作业, and updates from groups such as SHC Announcements, the Parent Association, 辅导员, 球队和俱乐部.

4/20/24 - 视觉 & 表演艺术 (VPA) Selection 由于

VPA classes are optional, seventh classes for ninth graders. 这些表演, 艺术, Chorus, Dance, 器乐, and photography classes meet during block 7 or 8 (before other classes) twice a week. While they require good time management and focus, VPA classes develop creativity, 快乐, and problem-solving skills, and allow students access to more advanced VPA courses in future years.

Math, 视觉 and 表演艺术 (VPA), and World Language course enrollment vary by student.

*Some SHC courses have summer assignments which will be posted on this page, including the De Paul Scholar 英语1、2 and the second, third and fourth-year World Language classes (which will be posted May 1). 所有 summer assignments are due August 13 (the first day of class.)

6/15/24 - Online Bookstore and Book & Resource List 2024-25 (with payment link) live

SHC students purchase texts and other course resources for each of their courses. 房屋委员会与 BNC, a third-p艺术y online bookseller, for some class textbooks.
所有 students are also asked to pay a one-time $100 fee for digital or bulk-purchased course resources provided by the teacher.

8/8/24-8/10/24 - Frosh Orientation

学生s are asked to attend Thursday through Saturday; parents/guardians are asked to attend Saturday morning.
Note for returning parents: Jumpst艺术 has been incorporated into Frosh Orientation this year.

8/13/24 - First Day of Classes

Summer assignments due; please have all books and have paid course resource fees.

所有 SHC ninth graders must be registered on 马格努斯健康 AND must have a Pre-P艺术icipation Physical Exam (PPE) on file via the 马格努斯健康 platform. This is required whether or not a student intends to p艺术icipate in a sport.

Families will receive an email on June 1 (and no earlier) to register and access your Magnus Account for the 2024-25 school year. 请电子邮件马里奥·佐佐院长有问题的 or if you need forms.

A brief tutorial is available on Magnus. Download the SHC PPE Form, have your physician fill it out, and upload the completed form to Magnus. We cannot accept a hard copy and will only accept the SHC PPE Form.
